Be careful with the CHE ranking in the ZEIT study guide!
Many of you will probably inform yourself about the different universities and their advantages and disadvantages with regard to studying physics. A very widespread information material is the so-called study guide of the ZEIT. It contains the CHE ranking, in which universities are evaluated according to various aspects and then presented in a ranking list. A table with just three colors is temptingly easy to read. This suggests a meaningfulness that is not actually achieved. Please take a critical look at such rankings! The ZaPF (meeting of all physics student councils, i.e. the meeting of representatives of German-speaking physics students) has also been criticizing the CHE ranking for a long time. more can be found here.
