On this page you will find some information about studying with disabilites at the department of physics. The Physics Department is located on the Adlershof campus. In general, you will be in different buildings on the Adlershof campus.

Lise-Meitner-Haus: Department of Physics
Newtonstr. 15
- What takes place there?
- Lectures, exercises, F-Praktikum
- Floors: 4
- Elevator: Yes, two
- Entrances: Glass doors, not barrier-free
- Christian-Gerthsen-Hörsaal:
- Access on the ground floor through self-closing doors and 1st floor (usually an open door)
- Barrier-free seats available
- Exercise rooms: 2nd and 3rd floor, barrier-free
- Toilets:
- Disabled toilets are located within the toilets near the middle corridor, although these can only be reached through a self-closing door which is not barrier-free.
LCP: Teaching building chemistry/physics
Newtonstr. 14
- What takes place there?
- Lectures, exercises, basic pratical training
- Floors: 4
- Elevator: Yes, without speech synthesizer
- Entrances:
- From Newtonstr.: heavy doors, not barrier-free
- Coming from Brook-Taylor-Str/Institute for Chemistry: barrier-free, automatic door with door opener
- Lecture halls:
- Access on the ground floor and basement through heavy self-closing doors
- Barrier-free seats available
- Exercise rooms/practical course:
- On all floors, self-closing doors
- Toilets:
- Disabled toilets on the 1st basement and 1st floor, but they can only be reached through a non-
- barrier-free, self-closing door. The women's toilet on the first floor is too winding.

- Elevator: Yes, one per "house"
- Entrances:
- Main entrance door and doors on main hallway with door opener
- Ramp in foyer
- Lecture halls: On all floors
- Exercise rooms: On all floors, barrier-free but doors without door openers
- Toiletten:
- Disabled toilets are available and are accessible barrier-free
- Canteen:
- Entrance door with door opener, wheelchair-accessible tray trolleys available
- Examination Office:
- Access only through a heavy fire door -- not barrier-free
