Liebe Kommiliton*innen,
in letzter Zeit häufen sich die Beschwerden über das Physik-Studium an der HU-Berlin. Aktuelle Studien zeigen Abbruchquoten von über 70% und unter 3% der Studienanfänger*innen schaffen das Studium in Regelstudienzeit[1].
Um auf Missstände in unserem Studium aufmerksam zu machen und uns zu organisieren, berufen wir eine Vollversammlung der Studierenden am Institut für Physik ein.
Diese findet am Mittwoch, dem 24. April um 15:00 Uhr im Gerthsen-Hörsaal (1'201) im Lise-Meitner-Haus (Newtonstraße 15, 12489 Berlin) statt. Die Veranstaltung ist teilweise auf Englisch.
Ziel der Vollversammlung ist es, uns über die Lehre in unserem Studium auszutauschen, gemeinsame Positionen zu erarbeiten und Forderungen zu stellen, die die Studierbarkeit verbessern.
Ihr seid herzlich eingeladen teilzunehmen und wir freuen uns auf euren Input!
Wir bitten euch Anträge, Beschlussvorlagen oder Ähnliches bis zu einer Woche vor der Vollversammlung per E-Mail an fachini@physik.hu-berlin.de oder per Post an Fachschaftsinitiative Physik, Newtonstraße 15, 12489 Berlin zu senden. Die Tagesordnung wird separat verschickt.

Dear fellow students,
recently, complaints about the learning conditions in physics degree programmes at the HU Berlin have been growing steadily louder. Currently, over 70% of physics students drop out, and only about 3% graduate within the expected number of semesters[1].
In order to draw attention to our grievances, and to organise ourselves, we are calling a general assembly of all students of the Department of Physics.
The assembly will take place on Wednesday 24 April at 3:00 p.m. in the Gerthsen lecture theatre (1’201) in the Lise-Meitner-Haus (Newtonstraße 15, 12489 Berlin). The assembly will be partly held in English.
The aim of the general assembly will be to discuss our experiences as students, develop common positions, and to formulate demands to improve our conditions of study.
You are welcome to participate and we look forward to your input and ideas!
Please submit your proposals by email to fachini@physik.hu-berlin.de, or by mail to Fachschaftsinitiative Physik, Newtonstraße 15, 12489 Berlin, by 17 April. The agenda for the assembly will be sent separately.
